This bear hunt with hounds is the best way to shake the frost off after a long winter and get back in the mountains on an exciting hunt. The hunt begins with our guides and some of Canada’s finest bear dogs riding the strike rack as we cruise the area’s extensive forestry roads. When the hounds start singing, our experienced guides assess the track to ensure it’s a quality bear worth pursuing. If it’s a go, we release the dogs, who will chase the bear until it either trees or bays up on the ground. Your guide will then lead you in to evaluate and, if suitable, harvest your trophy. This high-energy hunt delivers heart-pounding action and a chance to witness exceptional hound work in pursuit of a prime black bear.
