Lynx/Bobcat Hunt

Lynx and Bobcat populations in our area are solid and thriving. Lynx typically live at around 4,500ft or higher in elevation, feeding off the abundant rabbit population. With plenty of roads into the high country, it's a great opportunity to hunt Canada's most elusive cat. Bobcats on the other hand, are found across most of the region below 4,500ft, making this an ideal hunt for targeting a big Canadian bobcat with gorgeous fur while witnessing top-notch hound work.
Our hunts kick off with mornings and days spent driving, ATVing, or snowmobiling through cat country to locate fresh tracks of the desired species or whichever of the two species we come across first. Once we cut a good track, our hounds take over the chase to tree the cat. We’ll get you as close as possible by snowmobile or ATV, then walk you in to the tree—anywhere from 100 yards to a couple of miles one way. If snow conditions accumulate to the point the dogs are unable to run in the high elevation lynx country, an electronic predator call can be used on this hunt as well. With 1 houndsman/guide for every 1, you’ll get a personal, action-packed hunt for these crafty & elusive cats.

This Hunt includes the harvest of one of either a Lynx OR Bobcat. A trophy fee is due upon the harvest of a second Cat(Lynx or Bobcat). Only one of each species may be harvested.
